& OUTREACH EVENTS
We are presently in process of a major re-thinking and refocusing at Faith Chapel. Therefore, and due to the nature and necessities of the process, this has meant our scheduling of discipleship events is temporarily on more of an impromptu basis. Once we have finished the work of honing vision and re-focusing, Lord helping us, these things should again be more scheduled. Below you will find a list of things we have been doing that will almost certainly be part of the new menu. We do enjoy being together, and know how to have a good time. We look forward to worshiping, learning, serving and enjoying fellowship with anyone who is interested enough to visit us. Below you will find a number of things that have been "on the menu" and will be in the future.
Fellowship Dinners
We have fellowship dinners more or less monthly, on Sundays directly after the worship service. We have these sometimes at the chapel, and sometimes in member homes.
Mama C's Lite Lunch
Our ladies enjoy getting together for a Satuday brunch, a devotional study, and fellowship. Children have been and will be welcome. We have been doing this on a more or less monthly basis with some variation.
Mens Suppers
Like most men, ours love to get together and eat! We have had periodic mens breakfasts in the past, but have discovered that breakfast and Saturday morning are not optimal for getting our men together. We value the fellowship, and it looks like we will be going to a periodic mens supper.
Leadership Training Class
This is a "by-invitation" study for men who are committed to serving God here at Faith Chapel. It involves study of Christian doctrine, our understanding of the church and how it works in our setting, and servant leadership in ministry.
Young Mens Bible Study
We have been hosting a weekly bible study for young men that has both a discipleship and outreach focus. Scheduling has been and will be with 6 to 12 week sessions, followed by a fellowship/outreach "event."
