About Faith Chapel
Who we are
Faith Chapel is a church plant of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. We began in the fall of 2003 as a chapel, a daughter, of Covenant Fellowship Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, which meets in northwest Greensboro. We met initially in homes of the members of the core group. We began having worship services in the summer of 2005 in our present location, which was donated to us late in 2005. Our members are residents of northern Randolph and southeast Guilford Counties.
Why a new church when there are already some 60 or more in the area?
One of our founding families had been praying for years for a church to be started in this area that was both strongly committed to the Bible and historically Presbyterian (see “basic commitments”). There wasn’t anything of that description in our neck of the woods, and there are enough people in the area without a church connection to convince us of the need.
